How you'll make a difference
As an Information Support Officer you are a key point of contact between the Performance & Reporting Team and its customers. You will develop and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders and being proactive in working with frontline teams and managers.
What will you be doing?

- You will be assisting in the collation and processing of data accurately to support the Council’s decision-making processes and to complete returns to Government departments.
- You’ll provide advice to customers, contacts, external organisations and colleagues responding to queries, complaints and requests via telephone, email and online ticketing system, ensuring that they receive appropriate guidance about policies, procedures and processes.
- Daily maintaining and updating information systems and databases along with completing administrative tasks to assigned projects ensuring written reports are complied, support is provided and records are accurate which will help to inform decision making.
- You’ll be testing new business processes, system developments, and working with colleagues to make any necessary improvements before the wider ‘roll – out’ to users.
What we need from you
- You’ll have excellent organisation and communication skills.
- You will have good ICT knowledge, including excel and business intelligence tools.
- You will be confident in relationship building and being a point of contact in terms of triaging and responding to queries from other teams across the department.
